We all belong, everywhere.

When you travel with Farwest, you become an integral part of our global community – a community that values humanity and is genuinely curious about the diverse ways we connect across cultures, geographies, and personalities. These guidelines are in place to ensure the safety and respect of every individual within our community, including Hosts, Travelers, Guides, and beyond. Our commitment to fostering a healthy environment extends to every member, and we do not tolerate any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or cruelty by any participant.

Farwest's Commitment to the Community:

  1. Transparency and Safety:
  •  We encourage open dialogue while prioritizing safety. Any content, including reviews, created with the intent to harm others may be promptly removed.
  1. A Complete Story:
  • We believe in understanding the full picture when issues arise. Our team reserves the right to investigate any incidents within the Farwest community.
  1. Opportunity for Growth:
  • Assuming best intentions, we provide space for individuals to rectify actions in the wake of guideline violations. Farwest may explore probationary steps for minor violations when appropriate.

Your Commitment to One Another:

By joining the Farwest community, you pledge to create a safe, respectful environment for everyone. Adhere to the following guidelines on the Farwest platform, during Farwest trips, on any platform while associated with Farwest, or whenever interacting with other community members.

Expectations:

  1. Be Kind:
  • Initiate every interaction with empathy, considering others' feelings, and choosing paths leading to positive outcomes.
  1. Be Respectful:
  • Respect people's boundaries, personal differences, and keep judgments to yourself.
  1. Be Aware:
  • Be intentional with words and actions, online, offline, and on trips. Strive to build and uplift, not tear down.
  1. Be Responsible:
  • Acknowledge that actions can have an impact. Be accountable for choices and behaviors.
  1. Be Inclusive:
  • Embrace diversity and allow others to be themselves.
  1. Be Curious:
  • When encountering these guidelines or interacting with community members, approach with curiosity. There's always something to learn from those different from us.

What We Do Not Tolerate:

  • Harassment, bullying, hate speech, violence, or any negative behavior based on personal characteristics.
  • Malicious, unverifiable, or irrelevant reviews that may harm others.
  • Discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, expression, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
  • Privacy violations, including sharing personal information without consent.
  • Overtly sexual or explicit content, violent or aggressive behavior, firearms promotion, vulgar language, and content promoting illegal activities.
  • Commercial content promoting other businesses without Farwest authorization.

If These Guidelines Aren't for You:

We hope for empathy, curiosity, and growth in addressing guideline violations. If these standards aren't comfortable for you, Farwest may not be the right fit. Anyone not respecting the spirit of these guidelines may be removed from the Farwest platform.
